Self Tanning Guide – Bondi Sands
Hey everyone and welcome to the launch of my new website! Feel free to have a look around and explore as I worked so hard on updating it :’) I have a few new posts for you to go through as well as some new categories. I decided to announce the new look with this blog post because I’ve been wanting to do a video/post on this subject for a while so here it finally is! MY SELF TAN GUIDE.
I have filmed a whole video on this here
This is my favourite product by far. I use it everyday. This is the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Foam and it has a cocoa butter scent (smells like chocolate yum). I put this on my face and neck daily now and, when I am actually doing a full body fake tan, I use this on my hands and feet as well. I apply this only using a makeup brush (a big fluffy one). It feels super moisturizer and I absolutely love how the colour turns out. I’m an impatient person and so my gym goals normally fail, but this product isn’t a lengthly gradual tanner… you can see results just after one day!
Product number 2 would be the Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Self Tanning Foam. This product has a coconut scent and is really dark. I do this every 2 weeks after my old tan has faded. I scrub off my current tan with the Bondi Sands Exfoliating Glove and the Sugar Baby Vita+Skin Coconut and Raw Sugar Exfoliating Body Scrub. After I am out of the shower I apply the Ultra Dark foam all over my body with the Bondi Sands Application Mitt. I apply this everywhere except my face (I’ve only applied on my face a few times), my feet and my hands. Instead, on those areas, I apply my Gradual Everyday Tanning Foam I mentioned above and blend it into my Ultra Dark so it fades nicely and doesn’t leave a stark colour on those areas.
This would be the same product as above but in the shade Dark. This one is much lighter than Ultra Dark so before that shade came out I would use two coats to build the colour. I now only use dark if I want a more natural glow or if I am a lot paler at my beginning stage of tanning. I apply this one the exact same way as the above last product.
Product number 4 would have the be the new Bondi Sands Self Tan Eraser. This product is seriously so cool and definitely a must try for fake tanners. Instead of waiting for your old tan to come off in patches and slowly scrub away, you can remove it with this foam with almost no scrubbing. You apply the foam, wait the suggested time, and rinse away and you’re good as new! It’s a big time saver and smells like soap so its very fresh and clean, as well as moisturizes the skin. You can just apply this with your bare hands all over the desired area.
Product number 5 is a last minute SAVER. It’s the Bondi Sands Wash Off Tan. This is a life saver for last minute events or outings. This one is not a gradual tanner or self tanner. You simply spray it on for INSTANT tan colour and after you get home, you shower it off. I apply this one with a brush to my face and with the application mitt to my body because it can be very hard to spread and it is super pigmented.
This product is not pictured (it’s in my Youtube video though if you’re interested to see it). This is the Bondi Sands Gradual Everyday Tanning Milk. This product is great for up keeping your tan. It’s essentially an everyday body lotion that gradually adds sun kissed colour to your skin so it’s great for after the shower to apply (except on the face) to keep that golden glow on your skin. I just use my hands for this and then wash them thoroughly after so my palms don’t gradually turn orange.
So that’s it for my tanning guide and my favourite tanning products. I hope you find this helpful or I inspired you to try out these awesome products for yourself. Let me know what you think!
